NATURAL FOOD SUPPLEMENT
Atsas Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a natural food supplement*, with unique nutritional properties. It is produced from fresh green olives which are harvested early, while they are still unripe, and pressed by cold pressing to give a perfectly balanced olive oil characterized by a high nutritional value. Atsas natural food supplement is available in elegant and intelligent packaging that makes daily consumption convenient. Its beneficial results are ensured with a daily intake of 5ml. Its packaging size (10ml bottles) is ideal for preserving polyphenol content.
*According to the Commission Regulation (EU) No 432/2012 of 16 May 2012, which was approved by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), Olive oil polyphenols contribute to the protection of blood lipids from oxidative stress. This claim may be used only for olive oil which contains at least 5 mg of hydroxytyrosol and its derivatives (e.g. oleuropein complex and tyrosol) per 20 g of olive oil. Furthermore, it applies to extra virgin olive oils containing the phenolic compounds oleacein and oleocanthal.
Method of Production and Processing
The exquisite Atsas Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is the result of cultivation with sustainable and environmentally-friendly methods, all according to international standards of organic crops and protection of our planet.
Atsas Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is an unfiltered EVOO, produced by the method of cold pressing and stored in stainless steel tanks with a closed nitrogen system. During the entire process (cold pressing) the temperature does not exceed 27˚ Celsius. This processing method ensures an excellent-quality organic olive oil with special organoleptic characteristics, fresh olive aroma and exquisite taste.
Historically, olive oil has been an integral part of the Mediterranean tradition and diet. Consumption of extra virgin olive oil is associated with increased life expectancy, as it contains high levels of phenols, tocopherols, phytosterols, aromatic and flavor compounds.
Atsas Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil:
